The purpose of the youth ministry at GIBC is to give teenagers the opportunity to grow in their own personal walk with the Lord, to fellowship with other young people their own age, and to use their spiritual gifts and abilities in service for the Lord.

A number of opportunities exist at GIBC for young people to study the Bible and find out what God expects of them. Besides the regular Sunday services, we make available to our teens to participate in winter weekend and summer camp and, at times, interact with youth groups of other local churches. While some activities have been more social in nature, others are designed as evangelistic, with the purpose of seeing teenagers come to Christ.  Also, some of our activities are planned with outreach in mind. We have offered free leaf raking in the fall and free car washes in the summer, and have gone Christmas caroling in the neighborhoods surrounding our church, all with the purpose in mind of handing out gospel tracts and sharing Christ in our community.
