Bible Study & Prayer

Any local church is the Lord’s work, and if they are going to have God’s blessing, they must ask for it. That is why prayer is so important at GIBC, and the very reason we continue to meet for prayer, even when many churches have discontinued this due to a lack of interest.

Our prayer meeting meets every Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall. We begin with a Bible Study and then break up into small groups for a time of prayer.

There are also other opportunities that exist for a ministry of prayer. Every Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m., just before Sunday School begins, a number of people meet in the auditorium to pray for the day’s services.

The Lord has wonderfully answered many of our prayer requests. We invite you to join with us in prayer and see God work!
